You can find many of the same bikes you can find at Sunshine Cycle shop somewhere else. It's the staff that sets Sunshine apart. These guys are cyclists that know bicycles -- but they know it is more important to know you and what you are looking for in order to provide great service.

Mike McMillan - owner

Mike has raced road and mountain bikes for 17 years, and retired from competition in 1996. Still an avid mountain and road rider, he can always help out with component selection, suspension, setup and fine tuning. Mike is also our resident wheelbuilder and rides an Fisher Fat Possum full suspension bike and a Specialized Roubaix Pro road bike.

John James - manager

John moved to Greenville in late '97 from Indianapolis. He is a category 3 roadracer and enjoys mountain biking during the off season. John is our resident "High End" road guy, and handles all custom frame fitting, component selection, training advice and road racing stuff. John races Specialized Roubaix Comp and Tarmac Comp road bikes and is a founding member of the Les Amis road team.

David Clark - sales

Dave moved here from Long Island NY, in part for the great riding in the area. He'll make sure you're well taken care of whether it's a new bike, accessories or upgrades. Dave rides a Specialized Tarmac Comp road bike and Specialized FSRXC Pro Disc/Fisher Fat Possum mountain bikes on the trails. Dave is also our resident Pro-Fit guy, working one on one with customers to achieve perfect bike fit to cover special needs, orthopedic limitations and any other special fit situations.

Gary Knight - sales & service

Gary's been around bikes and bike shops for years, and he always seems to have the right answers. He rides a Specialized Tarmac Expert road bike and a Specialized Enduro Pro mountain bike.
